Partner with us to shape software built around the way your practice actually works. Dog Star AI’s programs pair practices with our team to test our products on real operations and to influence what we build next. You bring practical knowledge of how your group runs; we bring the data engineering and optimization expertise.

Shift-IQ: two ways to partner

For anesthesiology groups that staff multiple facilities with a mix of credentials and shift types.

Proof of concept: free

See what fair, explainable scheduling looks like for one of your scheduling groups, at no cost.

  1. Define your rules. Work with us to set your hard constraints, the rules every schedule must follow (such as coverage, credentials, minimum rest, and call rules), and your soft constraints, the preferences and fairness factors Shift-IQ should weigh.
  2. Share your data. Provide your clinician roster and schedule data for one scheduling group. No historical schedules are needed.
  3. Review the results. Shift-IQ builds a schedule, and your team reviews the output, including how each rule and preference shaped it.

A proof of concept requires no system integration and no user accounts, so your team can evaluate Shift-IQ with minimal time and setup.

Pilot program: paid

Put Shift-IQ to work across your organization in a structured, paid pilot. A pilot adds:

  • Secure user accounts with role-based security, so clinicians, schedulers, and leaders each see what they should
  • Multiple scheduling groups across your organization
  • Historical data for fairness, so fairness is measured over time, not just one schedule at a time
  • An independent SOC audit completed before go-live

Your data: Shift-IQ works with staffing data, meaning your roster, schedules, and preferences, not patient records. Before any of your data is used, we put a data-handling agreement in place. If your engagement involves protected health information, we will sign a business associate agreement (BAA).

CMS Negotiated Rates Browser beta testers

Join as a beta tester and help shape the CMS Negotiated Rates Browser before its full launch. Beta testers receive:

  • Free access to UnitedHealthcare negotiated rates from the October 2026 release
  • Discounted pricing for 12 months on rates from the other major national insurers (Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, Cigna, and Aetna) as each becomes available

It uses only public pricing data, so there’s nothing to set up: you can start searching rates as soon as you sign in.
